Do you ever feel worried?

Peace I leave you, my peace I give you (John 14:27) There are times in our lives when our peace is simply based on our own ignorance. But when we wake up to the realities of life, our inner peace disappears unless it comes from Jesus. When our Lord speaks of peace, he creates peace, because the words that he is always spirit and truth (John 6:63). Have I received what Jesus says? I give you my peace, a peace that comes from contemplating his face and fully understanding and receiving his peaceful contentment. Are you seriously worried right now? Do you have fears and feel confused by the waves and the turmoil that God in his sovereignty has allowed to enter your life? Have you turned each and every stone of your faith on your back, and yet have you found no spring of peace, joy, or consolation? Does your life seem totally sterile? Then look up and receive the placid contentment of the Lord Jesus. Reflecting his peace is proof that you are right with God, because you exhibit your freedom to return to your mind. If you are not right with God, you can never turn your mind to any place but yourself. Allowing anything to hide the face of Jesus Christ from you either causes you embarrassment or gives you a false sense of security. In relation to the problem that is pressing you right now, you are looking to Jesus (Hebrews 12:2),  and receiving peace from you? If so, he will become a blessing of grace and peace that will be displayed in and through you. But if you try to fix the problem by clenching your teeth, you destroy its effectiveness in you, and you deserve what happens to you. We are disturbed because we do not take Him into account. When we seek the advice of Jesus Christ, confusion stops, because in Him there is no confusion. Put it all before Him, and when you face difficulties, mourning and sadness, listen to Him say: Do not trouble your heart……
